Meet Claudia

Claudia, the visionary behind Claudia Pakes Design Studio (CPDS), has been transforming spaces with a distinctive blend of casual elegance for over seven years. Her approach is deeply personal, ensuring that each interior not only complements its architectural context but also resonates with the individuals who live in it. Known for her versatility in both classic and modern design, Claudia designs spaces that are timeless, livable, yet sophisticated.

With a rich background in the creative fields involving event, product, and cake design spanning twenty five years, Claudia shifted her focus to pursue her passion in interior design and art history, earning her degrees from Santa Barbara City College. Her global perspective is enriched by a life lived across continents—from her early roots in El Salvador and upbringing in Australia, to her experiences in California, and now settling in Austin, Texas. This diverse background influences her designs, as she continuously explores architecture, arts, antiques, and cultures, often through travels in Europe and Asia with her family.

CPDS has tackled a variety of projects, ranging from intricate space planning challenges to comprehensive, whole-house designs, including individual kitchens and bathrooms. From the outset, collaboration with clients has been a cornerstone of Claudia’s process. Today, many clients grant her complete creative control, a testament to their trust and her team’s ability to exceed expectations. CPDS not only prides itself on its holistic design approach but also on its commitment to maintaining budgets and schedules, recognizing these elements as crucial to the success of every project.

xx,
Live Beautifully!

Claudia

Meet Heidi

I joined the CPDS team as a Design Assistant in April 2023. You can usually find me behind the scenes gathering samples, tracking down orders, and keeping our project details organized to assist Claudia in bringing our studio visions to life. I began my foundational career in Human Resources and later earned a Diploma in Interior Design from the BAID in London. Prior to joining the team, I completed a few small-scale projects and spent some creative time as a wardrobe stylist.

Beyond the studio, I enjoy spending time with my young daughters and find profound peace and creative inspiration when traveling. I am a self-proclaimed Europhile and love visiting art museums and historical estates. If walls could speak!

I look forward to assisting you and bringing warmth to your home!
